First Comes Love (and then comes marriage) is a fiesta of frocks, florals, finery, fabulousness and fairy floss – all in honour of the funny feelings you get when you’re keeping company with your sweetheart. It is a fair, made for people planning pledges and parties.
This year, we hosted the second ever First Comes Love (get your head around that one) at the Oxford Hotel in Leederville on Saturday the 19th and Sunday the 20th of May. The days were delight-on-a-stick. Displays by incredibly creative service providers and wares for couples to ooh and aah over, popcorn or pilsner in hand (or both in some cases).
Ninety-odd businesses showcased their goodness at the fair with almost 1,500 people attending over the weekend. If you missed out on the fun, don’t fret. Just pop in to the Studio Bomba shop to pick up a pocket directory of fair folks, or visit the website.
