Our very own Angela Mitchell was invited to illustrate the West Australian Ballet’s brand new home in Maylands as a part of their 60th year celebrations. The Company joined with the City of Bayswater, to redevelop the beautiful old Art Deco façade of the heritage Senses building in Guildford Road, and create a state-of-the-art purpose-built ballet centre.
Angela spent some time on the sidewalk, sketching the limited edition pencil and ink prints that were presented to key supporters of the West Australian Ballet, housed in a custom vellum sleeve with a seal closure.
