Leatherwork Workshop

Now that we’ve settled in to our new nest here at Studio Bomba, let’s start feathering it! We’ll be making stuff, learning new skills, and satisfying body and soul, home and hearth, with our new series of workshops. There will be knitting and crochet and woodwork and paper things and all sorts of crafty goodness for the curious. Good-o.

So, let’s kickstart the skills-fest with with a little something called Hide & Stitch. This time, we’re working with leather luminary Bec Fogarty from BHO Bags and Purses. She’ll be showing us some skills including dying, stamping and decorative stitching as we make this little fancy pants pocket wallet. Just perfect for your cards, your cash, your Bomba coffee card and your hook-up from last night’s number.

Workshops start next Saturday, run for three hours in lovely little groups of 6, and include all supplies with a cuppa and cupcake to boot.
